Reflection For The Presentation
This week, every group presented their 50 Ways to "....". I think our group did really well, I'm so sorry if some of our illustrations/ideas made you feel uncomfortable. Emily and Lynn did better than I expected, they were really confident but like what Mr Ezzam said, they have to slowly improve their English. As for Ben, he seem really very nervous which wasn't what I expected at all but he did very well too. Overall, my group was okay. I wanna thank Lynn for doing most of the drawing/illustration. We did really well as a team and explained everything clearly and straight to the point.
For this presentation, the guys obviously did better because they're more outspoken. But the girls are all very shy but I hope all of us will speak up more as the time goes by and when there's more presentation. I was really nervous but I got over it and just said what I wanted to but I have to speak louder a little more. Mr Ezzam said that I'm very quirky so I guess it's the good kind of quirky? Hoping that he won't mind the things that we drew for our mindmap...
Photo of The Week
We went out on a class outing on Saturday and it was really fun because we went bowling. Galen was the one who suggested this class outing in order for us to not be so awkward around one another. Even though only half of the class turned up but it's okay.. There's always a next time. I feel like everyone bonded a little more and got to know each other better. The awkward tension between us is gone, which is really good. I can see that everyone had fun, I definitely enjoyed myself. Everyone was talking to each other, taking lots of selfies and catching some pokemon too! (There are tons of selfies, above is just 2 out of the hundreds that we took HAHA). There'll definitely be a second class outing.
Funny story about the polaroid:
We asked one of the staff at the bowling place to help us take a polaroid, and Fann wasn't ready at all but just when he was about the press the button, Fann shouted "Wait, I'm not ready!", that is why you can't see her in the first polaroid and Sabrina & Ben was looking at her. See, it's the funny moments like this where we can remember and cherish. Super cheesy but it's the truth.
The Corner of My Room - Creative Corner
I don't think that there is anywhere in my room that will give me some inspiration or spark my creativity but here's a picture of my bedside table which is really messy by the way. This is just level one of my messiness. My vanity table is wayyyy messier than this. I think this is my creative place because it's where I put the make up that I haven't use or want to experiment with. I mean, make up and art is almost the same thing. You have to be creative in order to create a look. And also, the other reason why this is my creative corner because as you can see from that small red colour photo frame, that is a picture of my dad from his wedding shoot with my mom. I feel like my dad always inspires me and makes me feel safe. That is why this is my comfort zone and where most of my creativity are running wild!Video Comparison
Tony Fadell's style has a flow during his presentation and by engaging with the audience. He was calm and clear throughout his whole speech. The images that were shown in his powerpoint is relevant to what he's saying and trying to explain. He understands his audience and breaks down all the information so that it is easy for them to absorb. As for Isacc Mizrahi, his presentation was abit jumpy so it was confusing. But he engages with the audience by sharing his personal stories and with his humour. The way that he explains where his inspirations come from is really interesting and I love that he is more goofy and relaxed even though his presentation was jumpy.
